About Us

We are a group of individuals who all have an interest in the English Civil War period, some the military side, others, lean more towards a civilian role and trades.

We try to portray this unstable period of English history to the best of our abilities but we are always striving to improve our interpretations though study, practical experimentation, experience and discussion with people who’ve already done it.

We are always looking for new members to join our family oriented regiment who can work with us to recreate life in the 17th century.

We also have an active social side to our hobby with regular monthly meetings and social events, as well as regimental barbeques and group meals cooked by ourselves at events, and at the end of the year we have our "Regimental Banquet" where we all get together and have a good time. It's also where our regimental commander gives out awards to members who have done something that deserves recognition. These can be serious or funny it all depends on what has happened through the season.
